For over 50 years, we have been a reliable partner, developer and manufacturer for the automotive and commercial vehicle industries and their suppliers. We are looking to fill the following full-time (40 hours per week) position as soon as possible:

HEAD OF AUTOMOTIVE PROJECT ENGINEERING (M/F/D) 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Technical and organisational management of the Product Engineering department
• Supervising and coordinating projects with OEM and Tier 1 customers
• Leading, supporting and developing the project engineering team of 5 to 8 members
• Ensuring compliance with deadlines, cost targets and quality objectives
• Preparing reports and providing regular updates to senior management
• Active development of processes, standards and documentation
• Promoting goal-oriented and constructive collaboration within the team

Your skills

• Completed technical training
• Several years’ professional experience in project management, preferably in the automotive sector
• Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Project
• Basic knowledge of CAD
• Good written and spoken English
• Experience in leading and coordinating staff
• An analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach to work
• A strong communicator with a holistic, sustainable mindset and a strong team-oriented approach
